2020 was indeed a rollercoaster for all. Besieged with a deadly virus, the world almost instantaneously screeched to a blinding halt. Facing seemingly endless lockdowns and supply-chain troubles, the construction industry in Victoria saw its darkest days. Yet, despite shrinking to 25% of its gross capacity over a period of months, our industry continued to persevere.

Fast forward to 2021 and although we are yet to shake this global epidemic, the construction industry as a whole is continuing to shine through. Acting as a beacon of hope for so many, this industry continues to show its resilience and we at Arcon Civil could not be prouder of our contribution to this colossal effort.

With the recent announcement of the Australian Federal Budget providing a record $15.2 billion investment in infrastructure projects nationwide, the outlook across the construction industry is promising. Appearing to be well on track to achieve an economic recovery, 2022 looks to be the one of the busiest years yet for the construction industry as a whole.
